About High Desert Doodles
We are the original High Desert Doodles of Phelan, California — a small, home-based breeder located in the mountain area of San Bernardino County.
Our breeding program began with Labradoodles, and we now specialize in standard-size Goldendoodles. We chose these breeds because of their exceptional qualities as family companions. We have always admired Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers for their gentle, cheerful temperaments and eagerness to please. Later, we fell in love with Standard Poodles, whose intelligence and playful nature truly impressed us. The combination of these wonderful traits creates devoted, affectionate, and highly trainable companions.
Our breeding dogs live with us rather than in guardian homes, allowing us to closely monitor their health, well-being, and daily care as cherished members of our family.

Dogs have always been an important part of our lives. Growing up surrounded by them created cherished memories and inspired our lifelong passion. Today, we remain devoted to raising dogs in a loving environment where they are treated as part of the family.
Our goal is to raise healthy, well-adjusted puppies that grow into loving companions and bring joy to their families. We perform health testing on all of our breeding dogs to help ensure that our puppies are healthy and set up for long, happy lives.
Our puppies are hand raised on our ranch and our puppies get enough love and attention from us. Since our puppies are our family, we want to focus on them completely and make sure about their health and their temperament. They play freely on our property during the day. This way we can monitor the dogs physical, mental, and emotional health. Because of the way our home is set up, our dogs are able to to play with kids, and enjoy family activities. We raise our puppies inside our house and not a shed or garage so we can focus on them. This way the dogs learn socialization and healthy family habits. We believe in the total care of our dogs. Overall, our dogs live a full life just as they would with you. In this way you get a healthy dog in all aspects. All of our puppies have a vet check up and first round of shots before they go home. All of which is documented in a report record that goes home with each puppy so the new family has a bridge from our veterinarian to theirs to create a foundation for their health.
